Orb Mobile Application for Windows Mobile
I think Orb should create a windows mobile application that you can use instead of using your browser, because we all know Internet explorer is slower than junk on mobile phones.
It should be a program you open and goes full screen and first comes up with a logon screen. You can enter your screen name and password, and select to remember password, and auto login if you want. It will then login and run a speed test, and display all the different tabs you see on teh normal page.

you can thank me later for the best idea in the world

I forgot to mention it should encorporate a player too! So you click your movie and it just opens up the player tab, loads goes full screen, allows you to adjust A/V offset incase your audio and video are out of sync, ALSO it should have an equalizer that you can crank on the preamp if your movies are too quiet.

You might want to repost your request to the CorePlayer folks?

You can save the shortcut of MyOrb Favorite to the programs folder, but it would still use pie

Third (or 4th or whatever) this.
I love Orb. But it was a little frustrating to see Orb release a custom app for the iPhone (even with 3rd party apps not officially supported just yet) while the Windows Mobile community has been one of the biggest supporters and proponents of Orb since its inception.

everything you need to watch orb well is already available on windoze mobile devices ppl... i like the web interface for orb & I much prefer using tcpmp to play streams ( the best free player for windoze mobile devices ) than anything the orb team could write up.
About the only thing I would like to see is a simple simple page design for orb for smartphones... like, we REALLY don't need all of the fancy schmancy stuff, a simple page design that has just text links is perfect since fewer graphics = faster performance.

Re: Orb Mobile Application for Windows Mobile
Yes, BUT I saw the Orb iPhone app on my friend iphone at work, and realistically is NO WHERE NEAR the same as using Orb on a web browser (no matter using PIE or Opera Mobile.) The much bigger supported base of WM users would still appreciate equal support to the least. A lot of users had no clue what "ORB" is, yet a good percentage of WM users have been using Orb since early beta stages before public releases.

Re: Orb Mobile Application for Windows Mobile
I would also like to see a native WinMo app. I have been using ORB for years now on WinMo and recently on the iPhone. You cant compare the using experience when using it with the native app. Since WinMo is my most used platform it would be great if we could see a native app. Can someone from Orb networks let us know if they plan in releasing such an app? i am sure many people would buy it.

Re: Orb Mobile Application for Windows Mobile
Me too am waiting for a native Orb program that doesn't need to be triggered from a browser. Can any developer give an update on the chance that this is under development or not?
