Streaming TVaudio works but only aftr changing channels Win7
After recent upgrade to Windows 7, the audio for streaming TV only works after changing channels.
When I log in to Orb and select a channel there is no audio. Once I change channels, then the audio works fine. If I log out and log back in again...same problem.
Problem occurs using Explorer client and iPhone client.
Did not experience the issue before upgrading to Windows 7.

No audio when watching live TV on iPhone
Hi, I am having trouble getting audio to work when streaming live TV to my iPhone. The audio works fine when I watch videos from my PC on my phone, but not for live TV. I know that my Tuner is compatible because I used to be able to stream live tv and audio perfectly before, but now it has stopped working. I dont know how to fix this so any help would be appreciated.

Please let us know the following so we can try and help you: - What's the Operating System on which Orb software (Orb PC) is installed ? 32bit or 64bit? - What is the EXACT make/model of the Tuner? - Is your tuner working fine on its native PVR application?

Re: No audio when watching live TV on iPhone
Hi thanks for the reply. My OS is Windows 7 64-bit. My TV Tuner is a Hauppage WinTV HVR-1800. It works fine when I watch TV on Windows Media Center, and it also used to work fine with Orb on my iPhone. Dont know what went wrong.

Same here with Windows 7; in fact I have been dealing with it for a while now but I was just going to create a thread about it before I saw yours.
Happens on both my laptop and my iPhone running Orb Live.

 Windows 7 Update
I thought we were supposed to have an update by the end of October? I am eagerly waiting for the update to be able to once again watch TV on my iphone. My $10 app is waiting for some action. Help us out ORB and at least give us a full feature list and plans for release date.
Thanks, Brian

Re: No audio when watching live TV on iPhone
Thanks for the info. To narrow down you issue further please set your log level to 4 (see instructions below), try streaming few audio / video files then try streaming Live TV on your Orb PC via http://mycast.orb.com then zip up your Orb Logs folder after failed attempts and email your logs to userlogs@orb.com. To set Log Level to 4 (debug mode - generates more log information which helps diagnosis): 1. Stop Orb - Click Start > Run > then type: regedit 2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | Software | OrbNetworks | Orb , then double-click LogLevel, enter 4 and click OK - Start Orb and try again. PS: Make sure to reference this post in the subject line of your email.

 Re: Windows 7 Update
I am having the same problems as others. I had to go back to previous version so I could at least look at pictures or access music. I am using Win 7 64 bit Ultimate. The 2.51 version had too many issues.

 Re: Windows 7 Update
There's also those outside of the US who are without that update. I'm in Canada, and am unable to use 2.51.0032.

 Re: Windows 7 Update
2.51.0032 does NOT work cleanly on Windows 7.
It appears to at first blush, but video (streamed live or from a file) have serious problems with "slowing down" as played and stuttering. Odd stuff, but definitely broken.

Could we at least be told what features and fixes are in store for us?

 Re: Windows 7 Update
Seriously - you guys are lost. 2.51 only sometimes works on my BB. Lots of Win7 64 errors. Even PC to PC. Been talking about this for months. Win7 64 to I-phone is messed up too.
