Hi, I am having trouble getting live tv to work on orb I looked at what cards ORB supports and I thought that the card that I am running worked with it since

Running Windows 7 Home

KWORLD PlusTV Analog Lite PCI TV Tuner Capture Card w/ Remote PVR-TV 7134SE

Everytime I try to do the TV setup wizard I keep getting Error: An error occured(Suppose to be Occurred in the error but its mispelled) while opening your TV Tuner. Please check that it is not being used by another application.

No other application is running that is using it so I dont know what is wrong and i thought that the card was supported but i am not sure any help would be great

Please set your log level to 4 (see instructions below), try streaming few audio / video files then try streaming Live TV on your Orb PC via http://mycast.orb.com and then zip up your Orb Logs folder after failed attempts and email your logs to userlogs@orb.com so we can try and help you.

To set Log Level to 4 (debug mode - generates more log information which helps diagnosis):

- Stop Orb - Click Start > Run > then type: regedit
- 32bit PC: Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | Software | OrbNetworks | Orb
- 64bit PC: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SOFTWARE | Wow6432Node | Orb Networks | Orb
- double-click LogLevel, enter 4 and click OK - Start Orb.

Have you found a solution? I am having the exact same problem.

Anyone resolve this? I set the reg key, where do I get the log files?

You can find the log files at %AllUsersProfile%\Application Data\OrbNetworks\. Please send them to userlogs@orb.com so I can try and help you. Make sure to reference this forum URL in your email.

I'm on Windows 7. Do you know where the log files are there? For the record, I was seeing this same error on XP. I thought upgrading might help.

- Click Start --> Run (In keyboard press windows key + R)
- Copy and paste this path %AllUsersProfile%\Application Data\OrbNetworks\ (You should find Orb logs)

I'm still having issues. I sent them the logs last week. I haven't heard anything since. What OS are you running? Just curious. I've tried on XP and Windows 7.

I'm going to keep bumping until someone from Orb can give us an update on this issue.

Sorry we tried our best to support this "KWORLD PlusTV Analog Lite PCI TV" software based tuner (Non-Mpeg2 tuner) but unfortunately no luck.

In any event, we recommend you keep your Orb software version updated as newer versions may provide better support for your tuner.
