Xbox 360 orb wont play songs/videos

Post Xbox 360 orb wont play songs/videos
Songs are MP3, format i went on my xbox music albums songs, i see the songs but when i click play the timer stays At 0:00 and the songs wont play.
- running windows xp
- also tried a divx video file and it said "the connection to your computer was lost, make sure ur pc is turned on and connected to your network, and running media sharing software.

I suspect that this could be a firewall issue. You should try again after temporarily disabling your firewall (Windows Firewall), anti-virus, internet security etc.

I have the latest version of WMP.
Firewall disabled
Ports opened through router settings (not sure if i was supposed to open those ports on the pc)
I dont know what else to tell you. I have xp. i can see the songs using orb cuz without orb xbox wont even detect my pc. it will just not play them.. can xbox support assist me with this if i call them?

Thanks for the details. To narrow down your issue further, please let us know the following:

- Are you able to stream audio / video files on your Orb PC via http://mycast.orb.com using Windows media player?
- Let us know the exact windows media player version? (Open WMP > Help > About Windows Media Player)
- Also, enable Debug Logs at Orb tray - Control Panel- General, try streaming few audio / video files on your Orb PC using Windows Media player then try streaming the same files on your Xbox 360 and send us your Orb logs to userlogs@orb.com so we can try and help you.
