Yay! Except...I can't find it. It's not coming up in the market yet. Been waiting anxiously for this though...my money is as good as yours! Just need to be able to get it.

It does not work at all on the nexus one. Force close when you try to start any kind of stream (video, music, anything). but you probably know that from the feedback on the Market.

Re: Orb Apps for Android Devices
Can you guys post links for people without paid apps in their market(ie. Canadians). I guess we'd have to pay with cc or paypal but without an alternative method we can't get paid apps.
edit: so I just started using the orb live free app for the G1. The app looks very iphoneish but that's alright, however I did notice when entering my username/password the screen did not auto rotate.

Re: Orb Apps for Android Devices
I am using the Motorola Droid.
App looks good, but I don't like the iPhone looking controls at the top. The Droid (and ever Android phone I can think of) has some sort of back button.
I downloaded the free version. The app seems to connect, but when I click to play a video, it just says "Failed to Stream Media". I am still testing.
EDIT: I got a video to start playing. The video was very grainy compared to using a web browser and downloading an .sdp (?) file. I tried to get the controls (pause, play, volume, etc.) to pop up by tapping the screen. Few seconds later the controls popped up. Tested the volume slider, worked fine, no lag. I tried to skip forward by dragging the other slider. Froze the app for a minute, then popped up "Failed to stream media". After another dozen attempts to play the same file, I can not get it to play again.
EDIT 2: When in widescreen, the controls to not expand to the full width of the Droid (because of higher resolution). Not a big deal, the controls are fully functional and readable, just not the best.
I hope this information helps. I love Orb, but it is a PITA to use the web browser.

Re: Orb Apps for Android Devices
I wish I could even use it in the web browser. Brand new Samsung Moment Android 1.5. Everything I play in the web browser or in the OrbFree App will play audio, but no video. Upgraded from a 5 year old PPC-6700 Win Mob device that worked perfectly. Odd?

Quote: OrbFree App will play audio, but no video. I can certainly try and help you, if you could provide more details like exact file type you are trying to stream, Orb version installed on your PC / Android, what happens when you stream those videos on your Orb PC via http://mycast.orb.com, etc.

Re: Orb Apps for Android Devices
Using siriusxstreamer and love it. I currently have the free orb live program. All I care about is my sirius streaming -can I use just the 99 cent orb music app? Or does orb music not do radio? Do I have to buy the $9.99 orb live program?
