I upgraded to vista awhile ago and havent been able to get orb to work with either of my tv tuners. I have a pvr150 and a pvr350, both would work fine in xp. I run sagetv and i would only configure one tuner to work with sage, and the other would work fine with orb. Doesnt seem to work that way with vista, i keep getting errors, ive even disabled both tuners in sagetv and tried orb but i cant seem to get any live tv anymore. Any help would be great thanks.

Please let me know the following so I can try and help you:

- Did you install Vista compatible drivers for your tuner?
- What processor and RAM (capacity) you have on your Orb PC?
- Are you able to stream audio / video files fine on your Orb PC via http://mycast.orb.com?
- Did you try streaming Live TV via Orb after disabling one tuner at Device Manager (Start - Run - devmgmt.msc)?
- Are you sure your tuner is not in use by another application (like Sage TV / MCE / etc) when you are trying to stream it in Orb?
- Also, copy and paste here your System info... in Orb tray icon > About...> System info ?

I can stream anything just fine, videos, pictures, audio ect, just cant get either of the tv tuners working. I have a AMD 4800x2 dual core, 2.42mhz 2gb ram. Just tried disabling one of them and disabled sagetv, still get the error Your tuner card is either not working or not configured properly or is incompatable with orb.

Please enable Debug Mode (Click Orb tray - Configuration - Advanced - "check" Debug Mode - Restart Orb), try streaming few audio / video files on your Orb PC then try streaming Live TV on your Orb PC via http://mycast.orb.com and then zip up and mail me the Orb Logs folder to userlogs@orb.com and reference this forum post in your email.

I have since upgraded to a fresh install of windows 7, still same issue.

Just did another logs and im emailing it in now. I do have sage installed again, but I tried installing orb first but still had the same problems.

Based on your logs, we suspect that your problem is most likely due to codec conflict (FFDshow codec / Sage TV). We would suggest you to temporarily uninstall FFDshow / Sage TV (for troubleshooting purpose), select Microsoft Codec at Orbtray - Configuration - Advanced and then try streaming Live TV.
