 Re: ORB on Android
OrbLive Android App is yet to be ready for the prime time but we are trying our best to release it as early as possible. We may release it sometime during November, if everything goes well.

 Re: ORB on Android
i am running orb on my windows 7,64bit, 12GB RAM pc, streaming tv and webcam to my tmobile mytouch3g
why does the streaming video only work when i am on my home network wifi, and only on wifi?
when on other wifi networks, or on the 3g network, all i get is "video loading" message for too long to even wait
this can work remotely, right? it does on a remote pc, so why not on the phone?
please help, i am losing sleep over this....i'm crazy with this thing

 Re: ORB on Android
Another voice shouting "Yayyyy" for your Android/Droid development work. Orb is my secret weapon for all my communication needs on my PCs, Mac, WM smartphone and iPhone. I just played with trying to access my live TV on the Droid...and I did get audio; the picture fell apart but it was...there.. That being said, I AM able to stream recorded video on my Droid from my computer in both WMA and H.264...so it looks as though it's just that last inch that Orb needs to go in order to provide Droid users with the same stuff as you have made possible on other OSes.

 Re: ORB on Android
I'm confused I see some saying liveTV is working on Android, G1.
I have everything but the Live TV running on the Droid using the AndrOrb app in the marketplace.
I'm going to CompUsa now to get a Hauppage 1950 and will report back how it works.
I also see a nerw OrbLive coming out for Android but a little confused, I guess I wont be if I can't get Live streaming when I connect the Hauppage 1950

 Re: ORB on Android
I set up the Hauppage so and not getting it show up with the AndrOrb app so I guess I'm in the waiting mode for OrbLive now. I'm still confused. I see people saying they are getting it with the Android Os but must not be.
Any guidance,
Thanks.

 Re: ORB on Android
I have live TV working on my Droid. The quality is amazing. The problem is the default viewer that the droid uses. Download the free video player nswPlayer. Set it to be the default player. Then set your streaming from Orb to 3GP Format (.sdp). There are a couple of minor problems. When you select the channel to play, it will bring up the stream from the download history. You will need to double tap on it and the player will open and play the channel. Works great, but if you pause the player you will have to hit the back button and double tap the last stream again to start it again. Also if you have a bad connection and lose the stream you will have to do the same thing. Minor nuisance. Let me know if you have any luck.

 Re: ORB on Android
I'll starting to set that up. Not sure what you mean by the history but by the time I get to that maybe I'll figure it out. Are you using AndrOrb to connect? Thanks!

 Re: ORB on Android
I figured I need to logon on to mycast.orb and login on the Droid but it's in some kind of loop, doesn't like something on the page.
