This is definitely not an Orb issue. We would first like to know whether you can stream audio / video on your Orb PC or another PC via http://mycast.orb.com. Also note that http://test.orb.com is meant for mobile devices and not PCs

One of our forum user has recently confirmed that he CAN stream media via Orb on his BB8330, please have a look at this forum thread : viewtopic.php?p=63350#p63350

I understand the test site is for mobile devices and not pc's, when I go to the device information from my mobile device (bb 8330) it says my phone is a pc brand unknown running windows xp with mozzilla firefox and nothing works from the test site, my phone use to be able to stream, if it isnt on orbs side, why does it say my phone is a pc? my phone is bb curve 8330 os v.5.0.175 (platform v.3.4.0.55) this device information has to be false on orbs end, I cant see my phone sending false information, but can see orb reading false information.

We have seen few devices incorrectly detected at http://test.orb.com but this seems to be a peculiar case where it is detecting your mobile device as a PC, anyway we will check this for you.

Since the other user has confirmed that he can stream media via Orb on his BB8330, we suspect you most likely have issues streaming on your Orb PC or another PC via http://mycast.orb.com.

Could you please confirm that you can stream media on your Orb PC or another PC?

Hey, you should first try to stream this url rtsp://a1352.l1857053128.c18570.g.lq.akamaistream.net/D/1352/18570/v0001/reflector:53128 on your BB to see if you can stream.

If you cannot then the problem is with your mobile company.

I went to the site and it looks like maybe a nasa site? yes I can stream on that site, and I stream from youtube the issue is wit hthe recognition of the device either from my phone or from the orb networks, but it seems that when I sign onto orb via my pc runninng orb, my laptop or my phone they all has the same pc and ip address
