Post Metadata for .m4a Audio Files
Ok everyone, here is my dilemma:

I have Orb set up on my home PC. The audio section is pointed towards my iTunes folder with all of our music. I noticed right off that Orb does not recognize the metadata (E.G. Artist, Album, Song Title, Etc.) for any of the music. All files are in the .m4a audio file format so that we can put them on our iPods at will. Up till now, I have been content to look for the music in a "Windows Explorer" type of way, in Orb by clicking on "ITunes Music", then narrowing it down to the specific artist folder and album folder. (Hope that makes sense)

Now though, I have purchased a Xbox 360 and am using it in our downstairs living room. The problem is that the Xbox 360 does not allow for a "Folder" option type of search. Instead, all of the songs have to be recognized by Artist or Album, which as I explained above, Orb does not recognize.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this issue, without having to go in and manually rename every single track? Such a procedure would take weeks!

Thanks for your help!

Sometime ago, when i contacted Orb about this issue I was informed that this is an existing issue and they are aware of it. And this is what I heard from them. 8)

Yeah. I'm also dealing with that issue. It kind of stinks when you have a large number of m4a's in your music library. The only thing I have found that "works", so far, is to make a playlist of the album/artist that you want organized on the mycast.orb.com site. I know this is simplistic and you have probably already toyed with this, but I don't know of any other alternative until Orb develops a solution to the situation.
