 Re: Windows 7 Update
Noticed on download page it now lists newest version as 2.5+, what does that mean?

Re: Streaming TV audio works...but only after changing channels
I just tried to recreate this issue in one of our PC which has a clean install of Windows 7 RTM without luck. To narrow down further, please provide more details like
- Make / model of the tuner? - Is this issue happening in a clean install of Window 7 or an upgrade installation? If upgrade from which exact OS? - Did you upgrade from a previous version of Orb? If yes, which exact Orb version? - Are you experiencing similar issue for video files? please explain in detail. - In which player are you trying to stream?

As indicated earlier you should be able to stream Live TV on your Windows 7 PC only if you install 2.51.0032. If have any issues with 2.51.0032 in Windows7 then we request you to wait for the next Orb release (unfortunately no ETA) which will address most of the issues related to Win7.

 Re: Windows 7 Update
Thanks for the partial update. Are there any new features that we will have? Although there is no hard ETA, is there a general estimate like a couple of weeks maybe, or a month or so?

 Re: Windows 7 Update
I recently upgraded from Win Vista Home Premium to Win 7 Home premium 32 bit. I have a Hauppauge WinTV HVR 1600 which worked under vista. I upgraded to the latest driver and still couldn't stream live tv. Recorded tv works fine. The tuner also works with Win media center. I upgrade Orb to version 2.51.0032 and now I can stream video but there is no audio. I followed these instructions “settings at http://mycast.orb.com > Open Application > Control Panel > TV/Webcams > Devices > expand the plus sign in front of your detected TV tuner, and try a different Audio Device and Audio Input” but there is no “Devices” tab under tv/webcams. My only selections are record options and program guide. I remember seeing "devices" in my prior installation. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I found that the audio is actually intermittent; if you play the channel a few times the audio will actually start. This isn't a good solution, but it will get you by. The part that really stinks is that if you use the record feature, it will usually record without the audio. I submitted my logs to the Orb support people a couple weeks ago. Haven't heard anything back yet.

Re: Streaming TV audio works...but only after changing channels
I have been experiencing the same problem( no audio until i change the channel on live tv) as people on this thread here are my specs.
-Tuner: Haappauge Win Tv HVR 1950
-OS: Windows 7 Pro , Upgraded installation from Windows Home premium, both 64 bit
-Previous version of Orb: 2.01.0049 to 2.51+ ( ran orb cleanup utility and restarted after uninstalling previous versions.)
-Computer: HP dv3510nr laptop
- I am streaming in windows media format .asx
I do not experience the problem when i view any videos from my folder they play with sound only from live tv. Also I experienced this problem when installing 2.51+ or Upgrading to windows 7, i am not sure which one came first.

 Re: Windows 7 Update
Well I finally got orb to work for the most part. The download link was changed recently to 2.5+ so I tried again. Before I kept getting an older version, but this time I did get the real 2.51.0032 version. It did scan through my media files and allowed me to set up my tv tuners. I can now also watch live TV on my iphone again. It does still have the same problems others have with audio. When you first start orb and go to live tv there is no sound. If you change channels the sound comes on and then you can go back to the channel you want. I am using win 7 64 bit and I can put up with that until the "real" win 7 update comes out.
Thanks for the input and feedback, Brian

 Re: Windows 7 Update
I can confirm the exact same situation. I upgraded a Win 64 Vista Ultimate to Win 7 release and I can stream fine, pick a channel and no audio. If I change the channel I get audio. All subsequent channels will have audio. It is only on the first initial connection there is no audio with the video stream.

Re: No audio when watching live TV on iPhone
Same thing here. Worked fine under Vista 64 but when upgraded to release 7.0 lost audio, but only when I first connect. On first connection, no audio video is fine, switch to another channel or re-select same channel and audio works with video.....go figure....
