I noticed that the Release Notes for Orb version 1.01.0638 indicates that it now supports AAC on 3GP phones. In order to utilize AAC, do you need to select it in the Tools section on the web page of the 3GP-capable phone? Or, is it the default setting for audio?

On a somewhat related note, is it likely that the new support for AAC might increase the maximum audio volume on phones which support AAC?

Select "High Quality" in Tools. It is not a default setting because some phones may not support it.

I just re-tested version 1.01.0638 with the Sanyo MM-9000 and I must say that the audio is improved 100%. Where the volume was not previously loud enough when the media player was set at the highest volume level (16) to be comfortably heard, now with "high quality" enabled, you can set the volume down to 12 and it's more than loud enough to be heard comfortably. Great work!!
